Eligibility Criteria

• Individuals who have successfully earned their bachelor's degree, achieving a commendable CGPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale,
• In addition to academic achievements, proficiency in English is paramount. Candidates are required to furnish evidence of English language proficiency through one of the following avenues: an iBT TOEFL score of 91 or equivalent, an academic IELTS score of 6.5 overall, or a 1550 EmSAT English score.
• Moreover, the selection committee value intellectual acumen, demonstrated by a minimum GRE score of 150 in the graduate record examination.
• Lastly, candidates are encouraged to participate in an admission interview, providing an opportunity for both parties to engage in a meaningful dialogue.

Benefits

Masters Program: There are 4 different levels of Khalifa University postgraduate scholarships. These levels are divided into Tier I, Tier II, Tier III, and Tier IV.
• Full coverage of tuition fees will be provided to Tier I and II scholars. Tier III scholars will get a 50% waiver of tuition fees.
• All the scholars will get textbooks that will be provided by the University.
• Free University accommodation for eligible full-time students of tier I and II only.
• Medical insurance coverage for full-time international students sponsored by Khalifa University will be provided to all level scholars.
• Mobilization and demobilization flights to all the scholars (between the home country and Abu Dhabi) for full-time overseas international students, subject to approval.
• Coverage of UAE visa application fees for full-time international students of all levels.

Doctorate Degree Applicants:

•Students must have completed their master’s degree with a CGPA of 3.25 in a relevant discipline.
•Furthermore, the institute requires an English proficiency certificate in the form of either; an iBT TOEFL score of 91 or equivalent, or academic IELTS score of 6.5 overall, or a 1550 EmSAT English score.
• Applicants must have a minimum score of 150 in the GRE (graduate record examination).
• Applicants must appear in the admission interview.
• Applicants must also meet the requirements of the department and field of study they are selecting.
• Both master’s and PhD applicants must have all the required documents.

PhD Program:

There are 4 different levels of Khalifa University PhD scholarships. These levels are divided into Tier I, Tier II, Tier III, and Tier IV.
• Tier I and II students will get full coverage of tuition
fees. While Tier II will get a 75% waiver on the tuition fee and Tier IV willget a 50% tuition fee waiver.
•A basic monthly stipend of 20,000 AED will be provided to Tier I, II, and III only.
•An additional monthly allowance of 20,000 AED will b
provided to tier I scholars and tier II scholars will get additional allowance of 10,000 AED.
•Scholars of all levels will get textbooks from the University.
•Tier I, II, and III scholars will get support to attend
international research conferences, subject to approval.
•Medical insurance coverage for full-time international students sponsored by Khalifa University will be provided to scholars of all levels.
•All the students must be committed to work with Khalifa University or a nominated entity upon graduation for a period equivalent to the period of study. The University reserves the right for any reason not to offer the student a post after graduation.
